LTPA is pleased to announce Julia Davis as the winner of The Dr. Jill E. Hungerford Memorial Scholarship!
Julia Davis teamed with Elizabeth Veronis in 2012 to win the PIAA state doubles championship. This past fall, the pair won the L-L League doubles title and helped Lancaster Catholic win its first District 3 team title. Davis was team captain this past year and earned District 3 team honors each of her four years at Lancaster Catholic.
She also serves as editor of the Yearbook; president of the Red Cross Club; and is a member of the National Honor Society.
The scholarship is named for Dr. Jill E. Hungerford, a medical research scientist who died in 1999 at age 34. Hungerford was a Penn Manor graduate who competed in collegiate tennis at the College of William & Mary and Georgetown University.
